nice! now your X5 will be unstoppable after the dinan tune!

but seriously, with your car getting more power, the more you'll need the winter tires for the winter season.

I wish I could sacrifice the look and the thread pattern of the OEM RFTs and swap them over to some comfy DSWs, but I just cannot do it. These unfortunately just don't look as good as the OEM tires.

I would swap out to DWS's when I'm due for new tires however it's the wife's ride and I prefer he to have runflats in case I'm not around and she gets a flat

My biggest worry. But these RFT's are loud on the highway I end up taking our Benz for road trips. Which is sad but that bad imo

I agree on the DSW06. I have the P-Zero's on but will bet getting the 06 on Monday. This is my wife's primary car and she liked the Pirelli's but I convinced her that the 06 will be just as good and probably even better with the noise and tread wear. She don't ride the car on rails, so she probably won't notice the small lean that these tires will have because of the softer sidewalls. Let us know how the tune came out!

Presitge BMW in NJ is a Dinan dealer. Mike Pillari is the best SA I've ever dealt with.

U guys that are worried about giving up ur run flats... There is a few BMW test articles were they get huge thumbs down after being punctured... I just read an article when the testers couldn't even make it to the service station for air.
Just food for thought

I ordered the continental comfort kit for 80 bucks... Good pump n sealant

Personally, I think there should be a class-action against makers who sell their cars with run flats - most cannot be repaired, tread life is unbelievably low compared to "real" tires (cost of ownership per mile is 2x that of a real tire), and a run flat tire replacement cost can be 2x the cost of a real tire. The local dealer here wants over $800 for one Dunlop replacement and I bought all 4 DWS06 for about $1300, installed.

What? I had mine punctured last year and I was able to drive mine about 10 miles to the dealership. I found out from that experience unfortunately that once you get a tire punctured then it's not a good idea to get them repaired, you have to replace the tire because apparently the sidewalls of runflats get compromised once you drive on them without air.
