that white x5 that was lowered on 20s, desperately needed to hve spacers. as i have already ordered 30mm spacers all around, which is relatively aggressive. i will start with the spacers....then look to powdercoat them a certain color. matte or gloss black. i do understand the wheel will mesh with the tire and make it seem smaller, but i think with the aggressive spacers, and very wide stance, they will look plenty beefy. then if i am happy, maybe lower it. |

@sand99 has. He used a high gloss powdercoat on his 19" wheels and they look phenomenal. http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=996196

Yeah, I think your car will look perfectly fine. Like you said though, see how it looks with the spacers before even thinking of lowering it. If you lower it, don't go too low...kind of defeats the purpose of having an SUV...it's not a rice rocket .

Body color 3m Vinyl eyelids on the headlights. as you can see in the pictures...or was that rhetorical clearly debating the IND rear emblem, but i also believe i would need to do the exhaust tips in gloss black getting my hands on my my sisters Camera for some proper photos after a complete decontamination and swirl removal and wash/Wax

That is one mean-looking X5. Do the vinyl overlays on the roundels stay put? Did they ever fall off with a car wash?

tough as nails....if you clean the emblems and roundels well enough, and lay the vinyl down perfectly....nothing will take it off, pressure washers, hand washes, drive through touchless and touching....they are good to go

I remember when I was stationed in NC a long time ago, I dated a local chick for a short while. One time, she put her feet on the dash of my Honda Accord and I lost it. We didn't hang out much after that night, lol. Fast forward to present day, and I still would never allow that. My current girlfriend puts her feet up on the dash in her car when I'm driving it, she admits (and knows me pretty well, I guess) she would never do it in my X6 because I'm the type of guy that treats my car better than I treat myself, lol.
