BMW ConnectedDrive netwrok issues

I used to get access to BMW ConnectedDrive where I could see the weather forecast on my LCD screen. Starting yesterday all I get is a message saying it cannot connect to the network. To be honest I did not order the internet service on my car so I am worndering if I got that service for free for 7 months and they now disabled it or if access to the weather app is part of the system and I am having some sort of connection issues. Tks!!!!

Mine was acting a bit wonky earlier in the week so I turned the Connected Drive widgets off and then on again. Seems to be working fine now.
