AC problem!!!

Hello,

I have a problem with my fathers f15 40d m sport X5!

After i half an hour my AC slowly stops to work and stops blowing cold air.

I went to Bmw service, but they still cannot find the cause.

After i stop the car, turn it off and 15 minutes latet it starts to work..after half an hour it stop working again.

Also i have noticed that after half an hour, pipe the connects compresor and cabin, became white because of cold air..i guess it get frozen!!

Does your car do the same?!
They have changed velve, compresor but still nothing!!

Does anyone have the same issue?

Please help!

Typically frozen pipes is a pressure issue, either the compressor not working correctly, or, probably more common, the wrong amount of AC charge in the system (too much or too little refrigerant, I can't remember which causes this, but one of them certainly does). It's very odd that you're having this problem after a compressor replacement though because to change the compressor they have to evacuate the AC lines. Perhaps they evacuated and then put in the same amount without checking it?
