Golf Bag in the trunk space

Hi,

Any golfer out there? I wonder if the golf bag can be put sideways and how many. It would be ideal to put 4 bags w/o folding seats down.

Any comment appreciated. If you have a picture, that would be awesome!

Thanks!

If you take your Driver out of the bag it will go in sideways.

Personally I drop one of the '40' rear seats and stack the bags length ways.

Like bav29 said, you can put the bags in sideways if you take the drivers out. Got to stack the bags though.

Thanks. I think I stop using drivers as I never hit straight with it!

I've had two bags in mine sideways, slightly angled.

Good to know that you can put two bags sideways but angled w/o folding seats!

Correct me if I'm wrong but anything above mid sized luxury must fit 4 golf bags in the trunk by standard, no?

Not by German standard, I'd guess. Maybe Golf is not popular sport there.

Even with tons of luggage back there, I get two bags in straight across (one on top of the other) without taking out the drivers. There's a cutout on the right side of the trunk that the club heads fit into, and the bags fir with an inch or two to spare.

4 golf bags with a couple of duffle bags or something like that is no problem without putting the seats down.

Good call on the cutout...I had the bags facing the other way, duh!

I presume the cutout is there so that you can lay the boot cover flat across the boot - particularly necessary if you have third row seats... But it works well for golf clubs too.

Used the little cutout today, had no problem getting bag with driver in it straight across. Great tip, thx.
