Possible problem with M Sport Suspension
Guys
I may have a problem with the M Sport Suspension (2VF Adaptive M Suspension + rear axle air suspension). First thing, when you go to the vehicle after it has been off and locked for a while, and touch a door handle - you will hear the suspension "wake up". This does not appear to be happening. Additionally, while driving, and changing through the modes (Eco, Comfort, Sport, Sport+) I feel no difference in the suspension. I used to be able to feel a difference ( I only have 1600 miles). I did confirm that the change in modes still changes the transmission shift points, and both screens show the text/graphics of the change. The steering appears to be changing as well, but maybe lost some stiffness. No error codes or any other evidence. Any ideas? Suggestions? What to look for or what to check? Thanks... |

Sorry I don't have an answer but I noticed this exact same issue (no changes when you switch among the modes) when I test drove 50i with Adaptive M Suspension. It felt like it was on permanent sport mode/harsh/jittery under hard acceleration.

Isn't this configurable in the iDrive settings if you have M Suspension? Check there first to make sure nothing is checked/unchecked for each mode.
