F15 X5 50i @ BMW Ultimate Driving Event

Hi all. Went to BMW Ultimate Driving Event in NJ today for Autocross and "Street Drive" events. They have an Alpine White with Mocha Nappa design package 50i available for street drive -- you take the car out for 30 minute test drive by yourself. Car is loaded with MSport, Adaptive M Suspension, Active Steering, B&O and more. I found the window sticker in the dash and took a photo (attached). Quick review: Love the mocha design package with leather dash. Def want it now! Adaptive M suspension wasn't harsh at all even at sport setting however a little body roll was noticeable (compare to E70 with Adaptive Drive).
Overall F15 is more refined and luxurious. Love it.

There was a $1000 incentive for showing up last year. Not sure about this year

Harris, what did you think of the Mocha Nappa/Aluminum Hex trim combination? I'm having trouble deciding between the Aluminum Hex and Fineline Pure.

I really liked it. I'm going to order the exact color combo: Alpine White + Mocha Nappa w/ Hex trim.

I have the Alpine Mocha Nappa and Hex trim love it .. Waiting for my springs to lower it and HRE wheels to show up. Carbon kit goes on next week. So far happy with the truck only 245 mile on it in 3 days.

Yacht Lights, would you be able to post a few pics of your interior?

I'd really like to see how the aluminum hex looks with the mocha nappa from a few more angles. If you have any pics from the rear seats looking forward…so as to show the whole front dash it would be really helpful.

I had chance to test drive the same car today in Chicago suburbs. It was amazing. I also test drove 650 and I thought the X5 was faster. Do we have a ringer? LOL

One minor gripe (for me) was how harsh the suspension was both on comfort and sport mode. Is it the M sport suspension or 20" summer tires? I drove 35 without M sport with 19" wheels and obviously the ride was more comfortable...
