LED Ambient lighting

My front passenger door top LED strip is starting to fade. I searched real OEM and can't seem to locate the replacement LED light part number.

Has anyone upgraded the actual light?

My local dealer is telling me I have to replace the entire door panel which does not seem right (part #51417369943).

I tried getting this replaced under warranty and even though the shop foreman can see the difference in brightness he stated BMW won't approve the repair because it hasn't failed. They only replaced all four door strips under warranty but that didn't make a difference in brightness. If anything it made it worse because the updated strips are smoked.

I've posted a pic on here before of the backside of the panel of you search. That line of light is basically like a fiber optic with one led bulb at the end. Its removable. I just don't know if anyone has found a part number. Or perhaps it got loose a little and moved away from fiber optic a bit?

It just doesn't seem like you'd need to buy the entire panel

It must be just the LED part.
I saw there is PuMA for it. The number is 54288237.

I found 2 part numbers for the LED part, couldn't figure out which one the top which one is the bottom.

63319399997
63319399998 - my guess is this one.
