Kzang are your mirror add ons a "cover" over the existing ones or are those actual replacements to the ones that are installed by the factory - because there are 2 types on the market - thanks -

They are replacement covers.. In another words, you must remove the existing original covers to install these. Based on the pictures Ben posted above, I would get his over RW carbon.

I have the covers also and they fit fine. I recommended them to Kzang and it appears each batch is different.

If you want to buy the diffuser or lip, I would advise against it. I purchased rear diffuser and the bracket doesn't fit well, which means actual diffuser won't fit. I didn't buy the front lip but I'd recommend OEM

I agree with this. My driver side mirror caps fit better and closer to flushed but the passenger side does not as you can see from the pics. But it does not fit like a glove like OEM.

For the front splitter and diffuer, you don't want to go aftermarket.. especially since how the carbon is installed. Bite the bullet and get the original BMW from Getbmwparts.com or your surrounding dealers. The front splitter just makes the X5 Msport look complete.. You won't regret it.

The only reason I went aftermarket on the mirror caps is because they snap on.

Kzang is discouraging me on the diffuser and splitter though ugh! I'm wondering if it's a fitment issue or the look of aftermarket vs OEM...it's literally less than 1/2 the price...

I was referring to the RW carbon aftermarket more so than Autotecknic. RW carbon weave is identical to my OEM weave on my splitter and diffuser and based on the pics from Ben, his carbon weave appears to be the same. My concerns would be fitment than anything else. The good news is that you can head over to Ben's shop and look at the CF pieces yourself to be sure the fitment and weave quality is 100%.

The diffuser and splitter I can get you the OEM.
I don't feel comfortable of selling aftermarket unless I know the source.
I sell AutoTecknic product and help them on test fitting too.
And I am pretty detail on them.
As I mentioned, if you don't feel comfortable on the diffuser and splitter, then I can get you the OEM.

Unlike others, I only sells AutoTecknic products other than my own for aftermarket. I don't source out from others without disclosures when I am out of stock.

Having trouble with diy installation of the caps I recently received from you. I've got the original ones off removed mirror glass but cannot seem to get the CF cap to sit flush, even after snapping off the plastic clips.

Do you have a link for a DIY or any quick tips?

Heyya; you may want to get in touch with RG Sport or RW CARBON because I didn't fit my own; I had a pro fit them and they are spot on; good luck
