I just ordered the 2016 X5 x35i M sport package in the SF Bay Area. After reading through what you guys have listed, I was able to get an idea. So build it online and directly wanted to get a set price and other dealers were inquiring to match or beat it. 12K/yr - Lease
M Sport Line (20" wheels) Adaptive M- Suspension Premium Package Cold Weather Package Drive Assistance Package Lighting Package HK Sound Soft Close After initial build, MSRP was $72,420, was able to get it just to $65,170. |

dkhm3 - yes that is out the door. I did a security deposit (to get that back at end of lease) instead of a down payment and still saved on monthly payments of $40/month.

What is the approximate range for additional tax, fees, titling and registration to add to the negotiated price? I'm working with my credit union now and need to approximate how much to borrow. Thanks!

I've gotten around $6-6.5k off msrp on a $65,495 build, life quality BMW in Brooklyn and BMW of Springfield NJ respectively, but the NJ dealer has a $559 doc fee, which I think it's ridiculous. The Brooklyn one didn't have this fee, so the discounts are about the same lately, it was about $1500 better last month.

Oh I forgot to mention that the above discounts were for financing only, lease has an extra $2k rebate for this month. Life quality quoted me $729 with taxes and fees up front of $4415.41, 36 month with 12k (I assume).

10k/36month lease X5 35i M Sport 71,500 MSRP 5500 Discount 819 Lease/Month 4500 Upfront (Taxes, Fees 1st payment) Not a bad start imo but welcome any thoughts. I think I can get monthly down to 775 easily. Maybe even lower. |

Hello to all! First off, let me say that this community clearly sets the bar for the rest. The knowledge, dialogues, and respect contributed by the members here, make this the place to be. Thank you.
I'm looking to purchase my first BMW x5 xdrive35d, whether build or off the lot. What are some reasonable prices to expect to pay in Texas(Houston, Austin, Dallas-Ft. Worth, San Antonio, etc...)? I was offered between 4%-5% off of 2016's from 3 different dealerships; Austin, Beaumont, and Ft. Worth. I feel like I could do better, but I get the 'ol, "If I do any better, the dealership will lose money" response. 2016 BMW X5 xdrive35d *DHP *Lighting Package *Premium Package *3rd Row *Smartphone Integration *Rear view *Surround view MSRP: $70,745, offered $67,845 Any input is greatly appreciated. |

I am very happy to report back, I took delivery of a 2016 X5 xdrive35i over the weekend! Thank you to all for the helpful information on your experiences, as I could not have searched and found the deal I was looking for without your insight.
I purchased the vehicle from Jay Cruz over at BMW of San Antonio, and I must say, if you're in the market, go see Jay. He went above and beyond to say the least. He was respectful, he didn't waste my time, and everything was as he said. No surprises. From my searching over the last two weeks, I found the best deals to be around 7%-10% off MSRP with a USAA incentive of $2k; Texas area. A few dealerships wouldn't budge from 4-5%, and BMW of Corpus Christi wouldn't move lower than MSRP. All in all, I'm very happy with my experience and have no regrets. I can't stop smiling driving around town, it is just bliss. |

Just took delivery of: 2016 BMW X5 50i M Sport + 20's, loaded except 1 option (Bang/Oluf stereo). It was around 91k with the build online, not counting taxes/tags and add ons such as the all weather floor mats, etc. So really about 93-95. I got them down to 81k out the door. I pushed hard and this is the 5th new car I've bought from them in 2 years. So I saved about 12-14k range.
I should note that I walked away from the deal 4 times and told them I was going elsewhere unless they came lower. I also put 15k down. One tactic I used besides this being the 5th new car in 2yrs, is that I told them I would be able to get it near the end of the month but if they couldn't get the price down, that would push me into the next month to get more $ from my paycheck to put as a down payment. Knowing they wanted to sell it by the end of the month, I walked away with that as my last words. They finally called me back all sad and said "what if we can do it...can you get it before the end of March?" |

Hi guys,
I posted on here in Sept after purchasing a 2015 X5 MSport 50i about the great deal I got, the MSRP was 80k and walked out the door with a selling price of almost 12k off. Anyway, fast forward to today, I have hardly driven the X5, honestly its to fast. That is terrible to say so its a 2015 and has only 2400 miles on it, I've placed it onto leaseswap in case anyone here is interested in getting their hands on a new X5 with very low miles and no money down. I've got 28 months left at 892 a month on this lease and located in NJ, if anyones interested let me know here is the link http://www.swapalease.com/lease/details/?salid=1009554 |
