Congrats! I almost did a luxury line with those wheels but decided on the M sport and stuck with the 19's for practicality. These pics are giving me second thoughts!

Nice! Thanks for posting pics.
I'm on the fence between mineral white and space gray. I just ordered a x-line mineral white with 20's this morning but I've got a little time to change my mind. Last edited by JS919; 11-17-2013 at 08:11 AM.. |

Added interior pics. Sorry, they're phone pics in overcast weather, but they should give an idea of what black interior looks like. The back seat is large enough that with a car seat (a quite large one too) there is still enough room to lower the arm rest, which conveniently provides cupholders for our toddler.

I know this is off topic to a lot of you guys and I offer thousand apologies....
Just out of curiosity, why did you put the baby seat behind the driver and not passenger? Isn't it safer to get kids out from the passenger side when parked on a street?....Also, easier to glance back at the child if the seat is behind the passenger? Z. |

When you're taking the baby to someplace by yourself, wouldn't it be easier to check/deal/glance at the baby if the baby is on the passenger side? Of course, when the vehicle is not moving (i.e.: prior to leaving the house, at a stop light, in the parking lot, etc.) I ask, because I am planing to install a baby seat myself and wondered which location would be ideal: Driver, middle, or passenger. My (newborn) reverse positioned baby seat is behind the passenger seat as Im 6'4" and the car seat wont fit behind the driver seat without moving my seat forward... which I'd rather not do!
As he moves into a larger seat (front faced) I know he'll fit behind my seat which I'd prefer. BMW Junkie: Love the Space Grey thanks for the great pics! |

Well, I have two kids so one car seat on each side of the back seat Car seats are huge and I can barely sit anyone in the middle. It turns my X5 in a 4 passengers SUV.

As far as positioning, we chose behind the driver primarily because it's easier than walking around the vehicle when putting her in/taking her out. Our toddler just turned 3, so we don't necessarily need to keep checking on her. In that instance, you can lean closer to the rear-view mirror and still see the car seat. We didn't really deliberate over the location much, so we'll see how it works. However, we did not choose middle seat placement for 2 reasons. First, it takes up more usable space for passengers as someone already mentioned. Second, and most importantly, the anchor system is only for side seats, not middle. |
