M Perf Exhaust buzz

Anyone else have any issues with their MPE buzzing? It only started recently and I can't tell if it's the finishers or what. Everything seems tight, but I'll need to inspect further. Just wondering if anyone else had noticed the issue.

I've had a rattle after cold starts for a while but haven't bothered to fix it. Have read on 2,3, and 5 Series forums with MPE's that it has do with the exhaust clamps.

I’m going to remove the finishers and see if it still does it. If that’s the issue, I’ll have them powder coated or maybe even replace with something different. Or just trade in the X5 lol

It is the tip finisher.

I have seen a few doing that, and even on my G30 MPE also doing that. (After 3 tips, still doing it).

I wonder if powder coating would fill any gaps and stop it from buzzing?

It might help until it wears out from the vibration.

Hmm...maybe I’ll swap the tips.

Any duals that fit and look clean?

Gotta be custom piping.

Small spot welds may help.

I get this buzz when cold with powdercoated tips. Goes away after the exhaust is warmed up. I used some black rtv sealant on the seam on the inside lip of the finishers and that helps for awhile.
