Little winter project - wheels refurbishment.

- Stock 469 20" wheels
- gloss black powder coating
- machined fronts
- ceramic coating

I'm pleased so far.
Not bad, eh?

Interesting look, I like it. I've been thinking about what to do with my winter set, gloss black, or something unique like this https://www.prismaticpowders.com/gal...7-and-pss-0106

For obvious reasons I will install them when the spring comes, so the pictures will come in three months or so. Sorry for inconvenience

What's the colour of your car? Mine's ruby black, so I don't want to go all black - black on black doesn't work for me. Something unique is tempting, but I'm not brave enough yet for something like you've linked.

That's my winter set, 19" and I can't go any smaller - and I have no clue what to do with them. White? Gray? Chrome black?

Sharp looking car, mine is Carbon Black, https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...ostcount=11248
Love the Canards in the bumper, never got that in North America.

Here is what black on black looks like with my summer wheels https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/at...8&d=1603636402

I love it. I had the same treatment done on my M3 Competition wheels, looks so sharp. Can't wait to see them on the car.

Yes, those canards are nice indeed - they are stock and unique for this car (M50d), just like titanium mirrors.

For your winters - 469's - you could try my configuration - black with machined fronts. I haven't seen that setup around yet.

Your car looks amazing with that colourful background, that form of autumn is fantastic

That's a chrome black wheels I have had on my old 335i. I think that's the way to go with my winter wheels, not too aggressive yet a little unique.
