iPhone 6 / IOS 8.1.3; cannot access music via Bluetooth

We just took delivery of 2015 X5 M-Sport built during the first week in January 2015.

iPhone 6 / IOS 8.1.3 paired via Bluetooth without any issues. Can receive / make calls.

But I cannot access via Bluetooth music stored on iPhone 6. It should appear in Multimedia as an external device.

Any suggestions?

in you iDrive go to menu>settings>connections>bluetooth>select your iphone's name(dont click on it) now press option on your iDrive controler then > comfigure make sure that audio is selected

I managed to solve this problem by removing iPhone 6 and then pairing it again. Everything works now.
