I think the squeak as disappeared.
My car has over 19 000 km.
But I have another issue with the brakes.
If I clean my car then stock it in the garage with the brakes wet , next day the car can't move. I need to put put some gaz other wise it won't go ...
Have you got this too ?

I'm guessing it's a common BMW issue. On my current M4 I have the same problem.
After washing it, rust forms very quickly and it appears the rotors are rusted stuck the next day.
Just drive it and apply brakes while driving to clean them up.

+1... I'm at 5,500 miles, no more squeaks.

I wish my brake squeak would go away. I'm at 7k miles, and it's as bad as ever. I'm debating making an appointment to see if the service department can fix it. With what I've read here, I don't hold out a lot of hope they'll be able to do much.

Unfortunately, a BMW service advisor told me that M cars do this. He said pump the brakes a little and that should get rid of it. Don't ask me where he got that from. He could have made it up for all I know.

I've done everything including bedding process. Now I have to live with it, this M feature.

I had the same Problem on my Audi S3. Doing a lot of City will make the brakes squeak.
To solve the problem, you will have to brake strong a couple of times.
You can also chamfer the brake pads to help reduce the squeaking noise!
Hop it can help!
Have a nice week!

Same for me for the SQ5 and both of my S4's (B8's). Pretty much just accepted it as a side-effect of owing performance German cars these days.

Man, I hope that's not true. I hate brake squeal. I'm hoping bedding and then occasional hard braking will reduce or eliminate it. I'm not sure it should be "expected" in these cars. I know in my AMG it wasn't an issue.

My X5M brakes stop squeaking after 4k miles. I'm at 6k miles, little squeaks are only noticed when the brakes are cold and/or wet right now.

I had an F80 M3, it squeaks just as much in the beginning.
