Manhart rear muffler

I stopped at Manhart in Germany today for the installation of my new rear muffler.
I choosed the homologated version.

Cold start with closed and open valves.

Seriously considering this exhaust. One of the better cost options with valves. Did you happen to take any pics of the car with the system on. Like to see how the tips fill in the diffuser and look

Much appreciated

Well , I can't tell you.
Manhart sent me a video of 10 minutes before I went to them , I have shortened it.
I think it must be in sport plus with valves open.

Thank you, really appreciate. I'm in the states and Manhart is pretty rare over here.

Sounds like the volume has increased much and what I'm looking for. Just looking for another tone and maybe slightly lighter

Can you comment on how much louder you think it is compared to stock. 10, 20 percent?

With the valves closed , you can't really hear the difference.
Once the valves are open , the difference is really noticeable , especially while the cold-start process !
I disconnected the valve system while they were open so I can take advantage all the time of that sound !

Globally , I'd say that the sound is about 30% higher

Manhart has developed 2 models for X5M.
One is homologated with conformity documents , probably only available for Europe.
The second one isn't homologated and does sound stronger.
