Winter Setup

Anybody know a place to get a reasonably priced winter setup besides tire rack? I'm not too knowledgeable about offsets, etc. looking for someone to say - "Put these on". But I don't want to spend so much money on set that's going to be beat up during the winter.

In the past I did tire rack. The savings is really from cheaper wheels. Figure you need 20 inch wheels and the offset will be funny because they will all be the same unlike the factory setup. My guess is $250-300 per wheel plus at least $250 per tire plus sensors at $50 so you will pay say $2250 on the cheap end for cheap aftermarket wheels and snows. Also know that most of those finishes will flake and corrode due to salt and be worthless in two to three years to resell. Factories will cost you $4k but in two to three years can sell for $2k if you change cars and will look like new if you take care of them. I have owned both and only do factory now. Sold my M6 winter setup for a bit under $2k and paid $3600 new.

Thanks, on a lease for 36 months so I guess tirerack doesn't seem to bad. Thanks for the input. Very much appreciated.

Mine is a lease too but I just got tired of messing around and have always done the factory since my first X5 and Tire Rack experience.

You are welcome. Message me if you have questions.
