F15 Retrofit: B&O Center Speaker

My X5 F15 is equipped with the Harman Kardon Sound System.

I would like to retrofit the Center Speaker of the B&O Sound System. Because looks better and has a light show.

Does anybody has some experiences?

I have it on my X5. It's not worth it just for the looks of it. You will stop noticing it very very soon.

IMHO it's worth it for the Sound. I've had an F15 with HK and the BO sounds MUCH MUCH better.

Exactly. No light show. One led. And of course the leds in the tweeters in the door.
And... mine makes a cracking noise at high volumes or high tones. No warranty BMW told me....

I would try another dealer as mine knocks bass and treble, another stealership cop out?

I have had terrible luck with dealers and x5 speakers. Complained 3-4 times, esp for phone calls and certain low quality sounds cracking badly, was told this is just by design, "all test passed".

Now if anyone could sell the entire B&O system and it was a simple pop out pop in install, I would be all over it.

doesn't seem like a simple install but I would do it if I could find the parts at a reasonable price
