Just got these lights from bimmian today and would attempt to install it tomorrow.
Just wondering where did u put the resistors? I read that those can get very hot, would it melt the bumper?

I just taped them up and tucked them behind the bumper.

I went with the bimmian led -"spektrum".
I noticed some flickering this am though as i turned on the engine but disappeared after couple of seconds. I will have to code this.

Yup, the resistors were included. Still flickers with it installed

Yup, the resistors were included. Still flickers with it installed

You shouldn't have to unplug anything. I had mine connected. A few clicks in the bimmercode app. And off to the races.

I think everyone needs to code out the flicker with the Spektrum Bimmian lights..but not everyone is noticing it doing it. I'm about an hour north of the GTA..

I am in Mississauga and can do your coding once you install the bulbs. Great mod btw

Hi all. New to the forum and about to pick up my X5 this Friday. I've been looking for the best/easiest solution to swapping out the stock fog light bulbs and Bimmian seems to be it. Just not sure how coding works and if it can be done on my own.

Sounds like we need to get a GTA F15 photo shoot.

Also code in the fogs and running lights. Always my favourite look for dusk/dawn when you don't really need headlights yet.

Huge shout out to Installsplus for doing a bang up job getting my X5 coded just right! Very happy with the way everything turned out! Had me coded and back on the road in no time flat...or should I say...run flat
