Cars with build dates up until 10/15: storage net in glovebox

I recently saw part #10 in this diagram when browsing EPC:

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=51_9168

"storage net for glove box". Does anyone have this? Can you show me a picture of it?

Is the net on the floor of the glovebox or on the back wall?

I have the net in my 2015 X5 glovebox without 3rd row. As mentioned above the net is attached to the actual inner door part of the glovebox. Ironically, I keep my northface fleece gloves in there

thanks. i don't even have that elastic band. it's just an traditional glove box with a light in it. (which reminds me of the bmw torch that no longer exists. it was a nifty feature.)

Looks like BMW decided to remove it for cost cutting

Thanks for the pic kzang. My 4/16 build doesn't have the elastic band either. Looks like they made some de-contenting changes around 10/15.

I am curious of the slots are under the flacking/fabric liner in my glovebox door. Will look into it. Would be nice to have the strap too.

Oh sorry I should have clicked the link. I thought it was about the storage net for the trunk.

Yes I have that in my glove box.

I have it too. It also has a pen holder under it. Perfect for smaller items that you need but would otherwise disappear in the depths of the glove box.

Pen holder does not show up as a separate part in EPC. I assume it is part of the glovebox door (door for "with storage package" prior to 10/15 build) which is a ~$180 part.

I'd like a pen holder, too.
