On the BMW website at least, the supply is very limited even when I expand the search across the country. And once you throw in the m-sport package, it drops further. Total of 6 X5s across the country for models 2014-2017 with under 20,000 miles. And nothing is close to $50k. Am I searching all wrong?
Try Autotrader, while it seems that you can't specify the exact trim details, you can ballpark at least 300 vehicles across the country to select from what roughly matches your search criteria (and they include 2014s and 2015s with mileage anywhere from 2k to 30k). There must be some in m sport trim and even if you can't find one, get one for 40K(even 39k) and swap the steering wheel (you can retrofit alcantara m wheel) for under 1K and many seem to have 20" rims already.

Try cars.com or similar ones too. Good luck!

Just placed a custom order on 2016 X5 40e for my wife. We will retire our 2011 X5 50i and switch to something more green - given my wife's a professor in Environmental Engineering, the 4.4L TT V8 doesn't fit her profile very well :P
  • Mineral White Metallic
  • Terra Dakota Leather
  • M Sport Package
  • 20" 469M Wheel Upgrade
  • Aluminum Hexagon Trim
  • Cold Weather Package
  • Lighting Package
  • Premium Package
  • Driver Assistance Package
  • Driver Assistance Plus Package
  • Real Window Shades
  • Multi-Contour Seats
  • Harman Kardon Sound System

MSRP: $79120
Sale Price: $71710 (including $1K corporate fleet discount)

After 7 MSDs my monthly payment is $877 (including 9.75% tax).

Drive off (first payment, $925 acquisition, $80 doc fee plus $6300 for MSDs): $8190
After $3K BMW rebate on X5 40e: $5190

I will also get $1K back from BMW CCA. So essentially I'm making $2K+ from the drive off considering I will get the full $6300 back at lease end

Try to get steeper discount like 6 or 7k. If not find a different dealer. Don't put so much down. Instead, pay the drive off and if you can put down multiple security deposit that will be better. That way, you are buying down the money factor, and the security deposit will be returned back to you upon the lease end.
