Looking for any thoughts. I'm in Vancouver, Canada.
Since 2008, Owned 323i, 535xi, owing M4 and X5 diesel. Looking to return my X5 and lease a new one( 2017 X 5 diesel). Dealer offer me 5% off. Feeling that's not too much consider I'm a returned customer. Is 5% a fair amount?
Thank you for your help.

I can't speak for Canada but I just pulled the trigger yesterday and I am at -10%, that's based on negotiated price from MSRP that was used to calculate lease payment.
-5% in the states would be considered a bad deal for you.
Hope that helps.

What are the current discounts on a 2017 X5 35d

Working with a local dealership to get out of my 2015 X5, millage issue.

I was told to go to one of the promotional ski resorts this weekend to get a $1000 voucher for a new vehicle.

I have a CCA active account so that will be a rebate check after the fact.

What are the other discounts that I should expect or push for on the new vehicle?

Just leased a new 2017 X5 sdrive35. Here's the details:

Carbon Black/Blk Dakota Leather
MSport w/ 20" black wheels
Drivers Assist
Premium
Lighting Package
Harmon Kardon
Multi Contour Seats
Space Saver Tire
Rear Window Shades
Apple Car Play

MSRP: $70,220
Selling price: $60,750

7 MSD's (.0085), $1,350 drive off

$795 w/ tax for 10k miles per year, 36 months

(I rolled in $1,925 of negative equity into the deal from my 535i that I turned in 6 payments early. BMW ate 3 payments and waived some wheel damage)

Order is placed for my first BMW (it's only the second car I've bought, my first was a Ford Escape that I kept for 10 years and sold only because I left the country); hoping to keep this for 10+years.

Upstate NY area:

2017 xdrive40e
BASE MSRP$62,100

Jet Black$0
Mocha Nappa Leather$0
Fineline Oak Wood Trim$0
Cold Weather Package$550
Driver Assistance Package$1,400
Driving Assistance Plus Package$1,700
• ACC Stop & Go + Active Driving Assistant$1,200
Luxury Package$0
Luxury Seating Package$1,350
Mocha Interior Design Package$1,950
Premium Package$2,700
Aluminum running boards$400
Multi-contour seats$0
Roof rails in Satin Aluminum$0
Apple CarPlay Compatibility$300
19" Light alloy Orbit Grey wheels style 449-with all-season run-flat tires$0
Destination & Handling:$995

Total MSRP as Built$74,645

Got sale price down to $67,600. ~9.5% off. Plus an additional $2,500 off for corporate discount brings final price to $65,100 ~12.8% off. (and I'll get to utilize the $4,688 federal tax credit next)

I think I will end up regretting not upgrading the sound system, or getting the additional driving assistance (Night Vision & Parking Assistance).

It's still .00134 on all the other models so it's very likely the same on X5.

Good deal?

Planning on ordering 2017 X5 sDrive 35i

Options:
Dark Graphite Metallic Paint
Terra Dakota Leather
Poplar Wood Trim
Driver Assistance
Driver Assistance Plus with Stop+Go ACC
Premium Package
20" Light Alloy Rims

MSRP $65,145

Dealer Sell Price Before taxes/Fees: $57,280.50

That seems like a good deal to me, but would appreciate your thoughts since this will be my first BMW purchase via custom order.

Thanks!

AFAIK, that's pretty good. All the dealers that have been quoting sDrive's have been in the $5400 range off MSRP. Any specific incentives you are working with that's local to your State?

Just a quick update.

Ordering today, MSRP as above for the sDrive 35i of 65,145.

Sell price (before tax/fees) - 56,456

About 13% off MSRP.

Had a corporate discount (maybe about 1.5K off) and plan to finance through BMW FS, but my strategy was to get the OTD price where I was comfortable, so didn't pay attention to the incentives.

After initial offer in my previous post, went to a non-Miami dealer, and was given this offer, which I felt good about.

I think I did pretty good...

Got the following deal from a BMW dealer in Houston:

X5 35i Sdrive
Imperial Blue
Ivory White Dakota Leather
Drivers Assistance Package
Aluminum Running Boards
Harmon Kardon

MSRP 61,470 with discount and corporate incentives I got the price down to 53,180. About 13.5% off MSRP all said and done.
