2015 X5 Recall (very few affected)

That only 11 are affected is actually discomforting to me. As if they are still experimenting with the final design of specific components.

Mine fits the production window, I think, but I have not been notified. Odd are I am not affected given only 11 units are being recalled. Knock on Fineline wood trim, I am still good .

seems like my car is among the driver side rear view mirror recall. I didn't get any call or mail yet though.

Do you have a perimeter that is not dark? I have that. It is quite annoying as cars in adjacent lanes creat a strobe, as the mirror is dark in the center but has a bright edge.

yeah... i have that too.. but sometimes only the perimeter appears. I noticed it very clearly once when it is raining during night and I saw the ring. I thought it was normal
