New X5 diesel

Just picked up my 2nd X5 diesel. I had a 2009 e70 diesel, which was a fantastic ride.

After I sold that one, I drove a Touareg TDI for the past 5 years and 85k mi. Great overall truck, but I missed the feel of the X5.

I cross shopped the Jaguar SAV, but the 4-cyl diesel was a gutless turd, so that was a no go. Land Rover offers a 6 pot diesel, but I do not like the look, and handles nothing like the BMW...

So, I ordered my F15 M-sport pretty much loaded. Since I came off of the e70 with the active sway bars, DHP in the F15 was a must. I also opted for the night vision since there are tons of deer in my neighborhood. All the electronic nannies, seat heaters, seat vents, black wheels, HK stereo.

I am very happy to be back in the BMW diesel. What a great ride, and I plan to keep this one until the wheels fall off.

I post more of a review and comparison to the e70 and Touareg once I've logged some miles.

I ordered a little “something” from you. Will wait a while (after break in) before I install it to make sure no major issues develop. Don’t want to take a hit if car fails and the chip is installed.

Nice to see you back in the group.
Looks like we have very similar builds.
