You may wish to tell your kind co-worker then to stop looking at your car.

That looks terrible, I hope they fix it by Jan build. No explanation by BMW can convince me that this is normal. They simply have to fix it.

That's the BMW airbrake. It helps to slow the vehicle. There is one on each side. They think of everything.

I bet they just delete these for MY15. They must be for wind/road noise.

We should send a petition email to BMWNA to get this resolved.

It's a ticking time bomb. I signed the petition. Support the fellow X5 drivers that you benefit from.

I ask this question in the 3 series section, but what does BMW test when the are testing their vehicles? Just handling and driving dynamics? To me, these things should be caught during testing because they happen so soon within the life of the vehicle.

We had this happen once. Seems like it's a dumb thing for such a premium car, but it's a really simple fix.

Eek! Well it is always summer here and warm enough in my garage that I should never have issue then, right?

I've had the car for a little over a week and have noticed the door seal doing is at least 5 or 6 times. Signed the petition. Hopefully BMW takes notice because it is annoying when you come back to your car and the thing is sticking out like a sore thumb.
