So our newly acquired X5 is leaking washer fluid right behind the front passenger wheel. It appears that it will be covered under the CPO warranty to repair it. My question is, can it be repaired without removing the front fender? Can it be accessed just by removing the inner fender liner?

I don't think so, doesn't look like there is enough room to get it out

Yeah I saw that but was hoping someone who ran into this would know if it really needed to happen. I would rather them not remove the fender, but I guess it is what it is.

If its under warranty and dealership is working on it- that's the official guide how the tech suppose to do it, they must follow official procedures.

You're right, they are going to do it by the book. I guess I just need to prepare myself for them removing the fender and side skirt.
