NBT EVO ID5/6 Map Update

But seriously, I think some forum members might have the ability to help you out with map updates for free or minimal cost.

shawnsheridan, apparently I haven’t made enough posts in this forum yet, to send PM’s, I can only receive them . .. my vin is 0Y19115
Not sure If it matters or not, but I’ve paid one of those remote companies to give me full screen apple cad play .

Likewise shawnsheridan I can't send PMs yet (even though I'm sure I've made enough replies? maybe the rules are more obscure). Last 8 of my VIN is 0J69016. I already have legit CarPlay, but I'm looking for an iDrive firmware update (I'm on "J") so I can get full width CarPlay. Thanks.

Can someone help me out .. I’ve got the mapupdate from Shawn .. but when I put the usb stick in my car .. it does nothing .. I’ll attach what I have in my car currently , and what my car shows for software

USB is missing 4th file, a zero byte config.nfm file that should have been in Map Archive.

Shawn.. Nevermind.. that file was in another folder for some reason.. I moved it to the root menu, and its updating now.. Thanks a bunch

Shawn, I am new to this site. I want to update my 2018 X5 F15 map via USB but I dont know what is the current version of map: NEXT or EVO. Can you please help? VIN: 0Y19273. Thank you.

I am having problem with Nav system the map wont load so I cant access the map menu and find out myself.

Hi shawnsheridan, what is the procedure for EUROPE EVO [ID5/6] map update to Europe 2023? It is the same as NBT with FSC code by VIN? Thanks
