I have a trailer camper that has 300ah LifePo4 lithium battery which needs maximum voltage of 14.6 in order to be charged fully. I have been switching my lithium battery off while towing so it doesn't harm my car's electrical system. But would love to be able to charge my trailers lithium battery while towing. I think i might need a DC to DC charger but I am not sure about the maximum amperage BMW towing harness can supply? Also anyone know if f15 has a so called "smart alternator"?
