Suspension airbag installed correctly, and help identifying part numbers
The dealership just replaced my rear suspension airbags because they claimed they were leaking. Luckily my extended warranty covered it. 20 miles after getting the car back I decided to change my tires for winter and the left airbag looks suspicious? Can anyone let me know if it's installed properly or not?
Without any load: Dropped back down: Other side without any load: Also, while at the dealership they mentioned I was missing 2 ground cables. The quote to replace those was $950!! Can anyone help me please identify the part numbers so I can just purchase them and install myself? If the parts are really that expensive, I'll just use some copper ground wire instead. That airbag doesn't look right, I would recommend going to go back to the dealership. Check this thread you can see how it should look:

Wow, those are some nice prices per cable.
You can get enough 4awg Copper, plus crimping's needed to replace all the cables for less than the cost of a single cable. I wonder what were they going to do for $950. |

Thanks everyone, much appreciated! I reached out to the dealership to get it fixed.
@M_Bimmer, I looked but couldn't find the part numbers. Thanks for digging these up. As for the cables, no idea why they quoted me such an outrageous number. I honestly think the service advisor made it up on the spot. |
