Thank you. I called the dealer and the service manager said 120. I tightened them to 110.
That's alot.
Did they say 120Nm or 120lbs-ft? Most of torque term at the dealership are Nm, but since we are in the United States of America, we convert them to lbs-ft, which is smaller than Nm.

No comment then.
I would still torque my customers car at 100lbs-ft to 102lbs-ft with spacers.

Hi all, here are pics of my X5 with 599M. Washed, waxed and detailed it yesterday. The wheels look absolutely fantastic. I'm glad I bought them. I'm very surprised that the ride is NOT harsh.

From another thread - forget which one, but it says 140Nm which is 103lb+/-

So looks like my SM gave me a very high torque spec for the lug nuts. I'm going to bring it down from 110 to 103 today.

The manual states the following.

After the wheel change
1. Tighten the lug bolts crosswise. The tightening
torque is 101 lb ft/140 Nm.

So it looks like the 140Nm referenced above is accurate.

I should have known better and looked into the manual instead of asking the SM at my local BMW dealership.

It would be painted OEM. Not aftermarket or M Performance.
Only IND carries that.

Took delivery of this beauty yesterday morning in London. Got her home just after lunch and got cracking with some mods.
Hope you like the look.
Got to say she's a great improvement over the old E70, real pleasure to drive.

i appreciate it. more important is the fact that we're derailing atomic80's own "mod" thread with other images of vehicles or irrelevant content.
