Can I go back and forth between two different cars when coding or do I need to do something special with Esys? I coded my wife's X5, and a few days later tried the X3d, but I kept getting errors while trying to select edit FDL. Any thoughts will be appreciated.

A handful of us have done this. Feel free to hit me up with any questions about how to set up a VM or get esys working in a VM.

The reason you want to choose correct chassis, is for mapping in FDL-Editor and CAF-Viewer. See image: If you choose chassis other than one listed under FP, you will see all dots. |

So I coded 2TB on my X5. The shifts definitely seem sharper, if not by much. I followed the directions and got LC to work as well. Today, while driving back from work, I noticed that the gear indicator kept switching from "D" to M8. It did it on Comfort, sports, and ECO. I tried to pass someone, and the car didn't downshift, so I looked down and noticed it was on M8 again! I had to throw it in SPorts/manual shift and throw it into 6th gear manually. Anyways, anyone else experience this issue before?
Thanks!!! Btw, here's a picture of me driving on ECO, with the gear indicator showing M8, but the gear lever on normal drive...weird... |

Small question for the coders out there.
I came across this thread on a X1 forum talking about Speed limit assist: http://f48.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1199420 Apparently the speed limiter will be automatically updated with the detected speed limit. I do have the Speed limit info package and all the necessary packages on my car as mentioned. Is this codable on a X5 f15 as well? Already searched the internet but with no luck. Any help is appreciated! |

If you have the plastic stems then pressure if measure by rotations. If you have the metal stems, there are actual sensors. For the ladder, yes, all you must do is add them and code vehicle.
