So really all the new functions are basically the same name but with a 2 on the end. Then I presume I will just have to search for the exact description as shown on the spreadsheet with the search function on E-Sys

No; only the ECU, not funktions, has 2 on the end:

• NBT = Next Best Thing (CAFD_00000DED; Upgrade over CIC)
• NBT2 = NBT_EVO (CAFD_00001EF6; Required for ID5)

The main difference is some of the speed-based functions (eg VIM) do not work with same coding. There are also more functions.

i have see, you have the menu "fold mirrors in when locked". i found this in the hu_nbt2, but i cant checked, enabled this on the menu. need this settings more?

Just switching out for a Gxx-series.

EDIT: I just compared a G12 (S15A-16-07-501 to S15A-16-11-504). The settings I used to enable folding mirrors were not set to aktiv, but SETTINGS_AUTOMATIC_EXT_MIRROR_FOLDING was in the ladder. It may be just firmware.

I'm worried that the F025_16_11_503 file is not correct for the 2017 F15. Should I be concerned?

F025_16_11_503 is an I-Step, not a file.

Do you have a Retina display? If so, there's a setting in the hardware configuration to enable support for Retina.

If that doesn't help, you can also check to make sure that the DPI scaling in Windows is set to 100%.

Have you tried running in Coherence mode?

Thanks. I have to reinstall now because I upgraded to OS X Sierra and Parallels quite working. Going to try Virtualbox this time around. Hopefully won't have the same screen issues.

Quick question, in the BMW online search options there's a way to do voice search but it's disabled while driving. Is there a way to code the 2016 X5 to permit speech to text while driving?

I can use Voice commands and touch controller for online searches while driving. The only thing I cannot pull up is street view.

That's odd because when I go to Connected drive, BMW online online search and enter search term, and try to select voice search t says connecting then an error message saying "for safety text are only displayed when parked". Is there something that I can change in the coding?

Voice search works in other places I'm just having an issue with voice search using online search

I will try your method (ie through ConnectedDrive) to see if I am locked. I mostly use "Online Search" directly from Navigation POI. I disabled a number of speedlocks, but do not recall anything specific for online.

Thanks for all your help Almaretto. I am now successfully coding my 2017 X5 M Sport 50i.

One thing, I tried searching for Close trunk via Keyfob/Inside button HKFM 3010 SCH_FBD SCH_TOEHKI TASTER_FBD I tried searching for all those codes under 3010 and then just under HKFM, could not find them
