I would say look at the new piece and figure out where the clip is. Or fold the mirror is and see if its underneath. I'm actually getting ready to do this swap in a few days. How does the glass pop off? Just gently pry if off with a plastic tool?

The clip just seems to be completely inaccessible. When I'm playing around with it it feels like I'm going to snap it right off so was looking to see if there were any tricks.

Yes the glass pops off with a plastic pry tool and is the easiest part.

Bend the mirror outward. From there, you'll be able to squeeze it to undo the clip.

Awesome!

I wonder why some of their stuff is price comparably (like the CF mirror caps), while some of their other stuff is so much cheaper comparatively speaking. Here's what I mean:
This is their M Sport CF front lip:
https://www.rwcarbon.com/58/1...fiber-lip.html

EDIT: not sure why the site won't show their link properly, but just go to RW Carbon website and search for the part number: bmwf15014

Here's the OEM one:
https://www.getbmwparts.com/oem-part...er-51192334549

That's like an $800 difference for an essentially identical part!

Yeah good point. I would chalk it up to higher demand for the mirrors.

Not sure about the quality of the splitter but I would vouch for the mirrors as high end carbon fiber with great fitment. I had the OEM M Performance CF mirrors before this and they appeared identical in quality.

I have the 3D version of the front lip and the quality is perfect. It was an exact fit and didn't have to use any tape.

I had a totally different experience with the rw carbon front lip splitter (not 3d) fitment was horrible couldnt even install it, but their customer service was great full refund no problem, and their cf side skirt extentions were a perfect fit

That's really great to hear, thanks for letting me know about the quality.

No offense, but I will do it right or don't do it at all.
By that, do you mean that the black ring was not changed out? I’ve been reading about this mod and wondering how the fit would be. Trying to figure out what the supporting ring was. But I think I found that it accommodates the wing properly
I see you have carbon ones. But I just want gloss black. Do you have these? Thanks
