NYC/NJ/CT BMW Meet UP "The Show Before The Snow"

Its actually a really cool place. There is also a big aviation center which is whats attracting most traffic there. I use to go there for photoshoots before they fenced in the hangers. Just make sure you keep your speed in check and you won't be bothered. Those park police there are itching to do something so if you give them any reason they will stop you. With that said every meet i've been to there someone was pulled over for doing something stupid. revving, burn out, speeding etc... There is always at least one of those guys at every meet.

This is why I posted earlier that if anyone acts like an idiot there that I would leave.. imagine the idiot who is trying to show off by doing burnouts or something similar, lose control, and hit one of us..

It's run by national park service and open to public. It also houses training facility for NYC Sanitation and air unit NYPD. I trained there for Sanitation back in '07. I've seen many cars groups have gatherings, mostly during summer.

Count me in for next weekend as well. Either day is fine with me. Let me know the final decision of date and time.

I will bring my 4 wheeled toy to FBF instead of my normal 2 wheeled toy, lol

There is but let's not worry about them or whomever. As long as you are doing what is right then that's fine, stop worrying about other people, lol just saying....

It's the luck of the draw with speeding in there, and luck is on the drivers side because there is a 1 in 10 chance you get caught and when you do they say please leave. It says 25mph but are you gonna do 25? No. I do about 45 in there, and it's very open and safe as you know. Hope to see you soon my friend.

FYI, on our last X3 meet and one time alone I hit over 115 (see video below), again, I'm not bragging but its very safe in there and it's HUGE. I Never once felt like I was over doing it the few times out of 15 years that I broke the law in there. AND YES with alot of people you especially want to be careful because they will be hawking. But with 1-4 ppl its okay to have some fun.
