Thanks for posting.
Not sure how I feel about that front end yet. I hope it grows on me. Looks jarringly inorganic compared to the rest of the car. I’m really just talking about the bumper and the portion of the front clip that just includes the front headlights. Anyone else feel this way too? |

I like the front bumper and the old school hood.
I am not so excited about the all-digital interior, always liked real buttons / more analog feel. Rear bumper seems good. I hope it doesn't start to look like every other porsche though with that black bar across it. Overall, I like it, will be interesting to know of any major changes to the engines. |

I doubt they'll ever flatten the front wings/fenders that much. One of the best things about any 911 is how easy it is to visually locate the front corners. Speaking of the 992 renderings obviously, not the 991.2 CT above.

Looks good! Aggressive yet sexy. Interior is stunning. No one does interior better in design or quality. And given how world class the performance and handling are now it’s only going to reset the bar.
I wonder if they’ll move the engine up again, effectively making it more rear mid engined than they did the 991. |

that's a 2018 991.2 C2T, a new submodel for the current generation. Its kind of like a GT3 with the base engine.

Exactly, what I've seen so far on the front end is ugly to boring.
I have no reason to think the car is anything other than beautiful in totality, but any improvement on the previous? It simply looks like they are trying to make it look different, and by doing so, it looks worse because they are trying to improve on perfection, or what was already aesthetically pleasing.

There's no way that could pass as a next gen. Certainly as a mid-cycle refesh, but not as a new gen. I know 911s have always looked similar generation to generation, but they are still different enough to be told apart. This is not.

996 to 997 was pretty small, just fried egg removal and bumper tweaks. I'd imagine 991 to 992 will be similar.

Works fine when you only have 38% of the weight up there. Also explains why they have relatively large rear brake rotors.
