Red face Need help! Wiring aftermarket dashcam for "always on" power

So I am looking at buying an after market front rear dashcam..probably this one:
http://lukashd.com/dashcam/product_i...am_9370wd.html

The problem is the wiring. I need to either go directly to the battery (which sounds too complicated for my junior level tech skills) or to run it along the headliner and down to one of the fuse boxes? I need constant power for "parking" mode..which starts recording when it senses the car has been bumped. (I need power even when the car is turned off)

I am hearing that some of the fuses on different year X5's actually shut themselves off after 15 minutes. Any idea how to run power?

You can take a look at what I did..
The Magic Pro gives you the choice in hours to record after you stop your car. The only limit is the size of your SD card.

I ended up going with the Thinkware F750 solution with front and rear cameras and hard wire kit. Its a pretty stealth system, and does automatic monitoring of battery levels in parking mode. Ordered 128 gig card.

That's good choice. Thinkware is best dashcam in the market. I'm waiting for their F770 which was released in ces this year.

So does anyone know which fuse to tap into for constant power? Neither of the above answers give the answer.

If you use the front fuse box then you can use the following.

Fuse #41 for BATT+ cable or permanent battery power

For pics and diagram just follow the link above.

on 2016 F16, the fuse# 41 doesn't provide permanent power, the power will be cut off after the door being shut for about 10 minutes, but when the door open, the power comes back again. When i connected a dashcam to fuse#41, the dashcam keep going off after 15mins, then i did some test and found out about this.

I end up used fuse#19 for permanent power.
