Front End Tire Pressure?
Coming from an E70 and now driving a 2016 F15 I'm still struggling on steering and road feel. Curious to know if anyone out there has worked with front end tire pressure on the F15? If so and have come up with something positive I would appreciate your sharing with us.
My biggest gripe with this car it give one the impression that it's just floating with very little front down force. Curious to know am I missing something? I wish I knew this before I committed. Thank you! |

I run the listed pressure. With 3/32s of tread depth left and over 33k miles I'm happy. Just starting to get noisy. This is on the Scorpion Verdes.

Sorry to say it is what it is. Even in sport, the steering isn't as tight and the suspension isn't as firm on the F15/16. I went from the E71 to the F16 without test driving. I just assumed the basic BMW feel would always be there. I hope you get used to it.

I fill the cold pressures listed in the manual for going above 100 mph which I think is 41 psi front 46 psi rear. Not sure if helps you or not, but for me it helps on lower the rolling resistance a bit too.
