I'm thinking of trying a retrofit for my 50i, and doing an X5M bumper and exhaust...

don't worry, not changing my x5 badge.

just love the quad exhaust, and I feel the rear of the x5 lacks some character

anyone else think this is possible?

m sport seems to have the came width and fitment

It's probably possible, but some supports on the inside may need to be changed to accommodate. The exhaust is also differently positioned.

Why not get the M Performance carbon fiber rear pieces like the diffuser and/or flaps?

I felt the same about by M Sport 50i and once I added those it made the rear look much nicer. And I didn't have to add parts that don't belong on the car.

Possible. Already there are minimum two cars (50i) in Russia with rear bumper and exhaust from the F85. For one of these cars, I ordered the necessary parts. Soon one of them put on the front bumper F85. Later I will upload photos and videos with the sound of the exhaust.

Why not buy the actual car instead of making it look like something it's not?

The owner wanted to improve the look of cars behind and exhaust sound. This he got, and he's very pleased, especially considering that these changes were worth much less other non-plant designs.

My honest opinion is by doing the swap it isn't any more better looking than a Msport rear bumper with an exhaust system.

The sound is much better.
The auto was not the M package and put it costs almost as much as the body kit from F85.

interesting....so both front and rear M bumpers are direct fit for non-M? any other modifications necessary? not that i am planning the change but curious, because for other M cars usually there are fender flares etc...

While I disapprove sticking M badges where they don't belong, I actually can relate to why people do this.

In many countries X5M costs exceed 300k and there is no lease option like US either. It doesn't hurt to do this mod just to have that aggressive look of the M anyway.

X5M rear looks so much more aggressive than m sport. The quad is also more centered and diffuser completes the entire look.

Looks great! Please do the front bumper and side grills. If I had the X5 M sport I would do it...if I liked the way the X5M look. Don't worry what others say if u like it do it. Like one member said some cannot afford the big ticket price. Hope it don't void and warranty. Look forward to seeing more. Yes, I paid for ny 2015 X5M, but if you can make urs just like mine...go for it.

my whole thing was I had leased my car before the M came out.. so I just went for a fully loaded 50i with a tune and I have exhaust cut outs.. Ive been pretty happy with it as its already faster than a previous generation x5m.. but I feel like the back looks too stubby and not long enough.. and the Ms rear is much fuller.. thought it would be cool to try while I still have the car

For those thinking the poor posers faking the X5m look, cars in USA a dirt cheap so its easy to say that.

I paid more than a loaded X5M...my X5x3d M Sport cost 120k. An X5M costs ~220k here. And the speed limit is 50mph except for 1 or 2 roads where it is 65mph...there is no point getting a big engine many want the look and all the toys

Hello everyone! I do not know whether it is possible to write here the cost if it can exhaust, rear bumper and all the necessary details were worth about $ 3,600.
