Leather Dashboard option

Does electing this option extend to the doors as well; or is it just the dashboard?

I got this option and didn't know it was on my F15 until I picked it up - it's very high end looking / much better than the plastic - go for it!

The leather dash looks fantastic. Do any of you have a good recommendation on which product to use for cleaning it?

This is a must have option. Makes the interior look so much more premium as a 70K+ car should be.

Me too. most BMW interiors look the same and the $1200 option takes your mid level luxury to 7 series luxury.

In the grand scheme of things, $1200 for what you're getting is decent

I call these types of options the "totally unnecessary must haves"

love it! I wanted to get it with my Individual Criollo Brown interior but the leather dash is not available with an individual interior.

As with DHP, HK, and HUD I would never order another X5 without the leather dashboard/door option. It came as part of the Mocha Nappa Leather package and now I'm spoiled with luxury and can never go back to plastic. Lots of comments about it from passengers...one said the other day that this interior is better than a Range Rover. I've never sat in a RR so I can't verify this.

It's an awesome upgrade. Just realize that it adds just about zero to resale value. I skipped the option and chose to blow the $1K on experiences during a recent trip with my fam.

Agree. The interior on my F15 gets lots of compliments with the vented mocha leather seats, leather dash and extended leather doors. Just wish the steering wheels was nicer/thicker.
