Wheel Arch Flare Part Number difference?

Hello all,

New X5 owner here. I am planning to get a set of 20" wheels and I need to order a set of Wheel Arch Flare unpainted (matte black). However, when I look at the part numbers, there is a "kit" and there are individual part numbers.

Wheel Arch Set 51162339010

Wheel arch, front left 20" SCHWARZ 51 77 7 303 391
Wheel arch, front right 20" SCHWARZ 51 77 7 303 392
Wheel arch, rear left 20" SCHWARZ 51 77 7 343 143
Wheel arch, rear right 20" SCHWARZ 51 77 7 343 144

From RealOEM, the "set" is for 21" China/Japan. I called up the local dealer and they have no idea what the difference is.

Anyone knows? The price difference between the set and individual parts are almost 50% cheaper.

Thanks

The kit set is just a liner flare. I never seen them in the US, but seems like they are just a liner acting similar to a mud guard.
What you need is the individual parts. Those are what I always ordered for my customers if they want an upgrade.

Looks kind of stupid if you ask me.
