OK good to know. I guess I'll stick with OEM when I'm ready to do it. I was planning to gloss black wrap it so the weave isn't too important but if fitment is bad...It's not worth the effort.

Went aftermarket on splitter/diffuser/flaps.
Will update forum on quality. Total package $900 from Alibaba.
Surely don't expect OEM quality.

unboxed the exhaust. It's lighter than I expected!

There is unfortunately a dent in the muffler inlet. I think it should be easy enough to straighten out by the installer since a clamp goes over that section. Thoughts?

Don't want to have to deal with returning it for a replacement etc....

That's certainly a good price! Looking forward to updates on quality and fitment. Feel free to post here if you don't want to start a separate thread.

Can you share links for where you purchased off alibaba?

I think you will love the Exhaust sound. I certainly do and still do after 3 years.
I pay attention to other Msport X5 35i's and I can barely hear any exhaust notes at all.
The MPE makes noises and you can hear it in the cabin but to me it isn't obnoxious since I feel like the F15 cabin dampens the outside noise fairly well.

Check out my video here start at 2:25 to hear a warm start and revs.

vs. warm start without MPE

Ooooh nvm I was talking about the MPE.

OK yah, I think it should be fairly easy to straighten out anyways and it looks like the clamp slides over a good portion of that pipe.

I think I've actually watched most of your MPE videos on YouTube already. Partially what sold me on ordering it

You should ask for a discount. I know this stuff happens, and it's tough being a pest for something so small, but package must have had a flaw.

They have a wing here in NJ, but I got it straight from China.
They have good reviews on ebay for fitment.
Quality TBD I guess.
With the cold weather in Northern MI, they will be tested.
Here's pic they sent me.

That actually looks OK. I’ve been quoted £3k for the BMW kit, and am really questioning if it’s worth it. Especially as it can’t be removed once fitted, and I’ll probably change the car after 18 months.

Definitely. Have you got a non Facebook link to their website? I’m in the UK, so would rather not buy from the US, as the customs fees are crazy.
