I'm comfortable using the expert mode w/ Bimmercode and Vgate; however, I don't know all the options that need to be set. Do you know if there is a list of what needs to be changed to enable the Enhanced Bluetooth (6NS)?

1) LED Corona Brightness - from all the testing I've done, it doesn't seem to do anything. I feel like I should remove it. It was supposed to increase the HALO brightness since LED lighting package seems to have dimmer halos than Bi-Xenon package for their Daytime Running Lights (DRLs).

I think I will delete that coding since no one seems to use it or test it. @CatFlap, please feel free to let us know how useful this coding is or not, and I will remove it based on your opinion. Thank you.

Text messages work from everyone that I have coded for and spoken to, but no one has taken a picture. It would just end up showing you the whole text so kind of like this but with all of text being readable:



Kombi/HUD startup logo will look like this on the basic cluster and similar in the 6WA extended:

Where you able to get you car to go into sport+. I did the same as you and but can’t get mine to go into Sport+ either????

Shows on instument cluster but cannot be selected.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to figure it out. I haven't been able to find the correct options in expert mode. I've kind of given up since I just got a racechip ultimate and a new chargepipe from r33 RGSport. From what I've read Sport+ just deactivates traction control.

Hi, I am trying to add 6NS Enhanced USB and Bluetooth plus
Smartphone Integration to my X5, specifically the ability to see text messages. I'm unsure of what options to select though.

I am using the BIMMERCODE app on a 2015 X5.

After I did some recent coding my iSpeach is not working. Press one car commands and Press and hold SIRI is not working. Anyone have this issue before?

I was able to get SIRI working again on a long press by activating:

CE_DEVICE_SPEECH_RECOGNITION = aktiv

However BMW iSpeech is not working. Does anyone know how to activate this?

In order to add "Office" feature, including texted messages, it's possible to use BIMMERCODE in expert mode. See the settings below.

Yes you are correct. CE_SPEECH_RECOGNITION should be "aktiv".

It most likely is already set to this.

FYI. Once you make those changes make sure to delete your phone from iDrive and remove your car from your phones bluetooth. Start a fresh Bluetooth paring.

Hoping to get some help on map update trouble. '15 X5 using latest NBT map update file on 64GB thumb drive. Tried formatting FAT32 but drive too big for that. Tried NTFS quick format but still not recognized. Doing full formatting now and hoping that works. Are the 4 map folders supposed to be at the root drive of the thumb drive for the iDrive to recognize the software?

Okay - so I broke down and wen the E-sys route I coded my 2015 x5 last night to change FA from 6NH to 6NS. Actually, there was not a 6NH in the vehicle options but I inserted 6NS. I see the office function in the ConnectedDrive but all phones are being loaded as "Telephone 1" - I never get an option for Telephone 2. Also, I do not get an option for "Notifications".

I VO "coded" the HU_NBT but didn't see an entry for the CMB_MEDIA. Can someone help me? Is there another ECU that I need to code as well, to get 6NS to work? And advice would be appreciated! Thank you!
