Maybe you should go to the muffler shop, just to be safe.
Agree.
But you need to fitted the rear valance first. I don't trust muffler shop guys doing body work.

Use the picture in this post.
It pointed out where are all the screws at.
1 screw on each end is covered by the fender flare. So you need to remove partial of the fender flare to access that screw.

Oh, and you need to remove the rear reflectors to undo the screw behind it.
The rest just clips.

This whole thread is starting to feel like back in the day when people would stick those fake exhaust tips onto the W220 S-Class bumper and pretend their S430 was an S600.

I'm only posting this because this random guy today asked me if I like the MPE (asked if I had MPPK) and I told him I didn't have any of that, so he accused me of being a fake since I'm debadged since delivery and he assumed that I changed my tips to reflect other than what I have. Instead of continuing to speak with this individual, I laughed and walked away because he probably was unlikely to believe this comes stock and would have wanted me to prove this to him...

Anyways OP you should be ready to take flak from someone out there who just seems they have nothing else good going on in their life that they will give you crap for doing this to your car even if you are doing it to improve the visual of your car and nothing more.

My opinion is: I don't give a heck about it. It is my car and I am trying to make it my own.
Thanks

I think my post could have been interpreted that I thought of your car this way... which is not how I think of it. Just that someone talked about my car and I thought of it. Cheers!

Here some pictures that could help in some way during installation of the rectangular exhaust tips.

You have to cut the OEM muffler right after the support

Keep in mind, that is for the 30d/35d setup.
For 35i is different. The hanger is on the muffler, not on the tip pipe.

Ben, do you think the MSport stock exhaust tips would fit the 35d rear bumper valance? The photo is somewhat deceiving and it looks like it would fit.
