Cheap 20 dollar eBay mod. Much better then the chrome emblem.

Looks nice. Is it painted or a stick on? I'm always afraid of stick on emblems, because I can never get them in the factory location.

No it's painted gloss black. Same as the OEM emblem. Ordered from china got it in a week. Worth 20 Canadian!

Using painters tape helps with applying the new badges.

Now all you have to do is paint your exhaust tips black and she will look beastly. Looks good. The black badge looks gorgeous on the white finishes.

Thinking of removing the X5 emblems tomorrow! I cherish symmetry and the X5 emblems have always been an eyesore to me.

Thanks bud. On my list. What paint do recommend ? Thinking of a high heat flat blk BBQ paint.

Honestly not really I had it on my caddi for 5 years with no issues. It really depends if the cop wants to be an ass. They sell them at Canadian tire !

De-badge is the only way to go, IMO. Please, please don't use BBQ paint on your BMW.
