X5 50i/35i (or d) in Pearl Silver Metallic pics?

Anyone has an X5 with M sport package in Pearl Silver Metallic Individual paint? I have seen X6 in this color, but not an X5. I'm deciding between this color, Mineral White or Ruby Black metallic. Ive seen pics of the later two, but yet to see one with Pearl Silver.

You can (atleast from BMW website). For X5, there are 3 individual options Ruby Black, Azurite Black and Pearl Silver.

We don't get that option in canada, but that is not true individual, but pearl silver is a f$/@ great Color, I would totally get that

My local dealer had an M-Sport 35i in this color with all the M-sport carbon fiber bits, 2 sets of 20" M-sport wheels etc. They made 35 for the US market and they listed at ~$83K. That is steep for a 35i and I need (want) a 50i so I was personally not interested in it. PSM is white from one angle and silver from another angle. It caught my eye and I told the dealer that is not a "normal" color and they said you know your shit..it's PSM. I was ready to go to Dallas and purchase the PSM 50i unit (attached) they had down there but too much work...flights, haggling over the phone for countless hours, traveling back home with it, etc. I ordered my 50i locally and decided against PSM, reluctantly. After further review and seeing in person it is still white/silver whatever and $1900. However, it is ..."individual" and the reason I was considering it; to be different. I ended up going with BSM again. If you like silver and white you should go for it. I was close but just could not commit. Best of luck! It is an awesome color, just not sure it is dynamic enough to warrant the cost or be "individual."

Lastly, check out this one for sale at Gwinnett for some pics:

Thanks, that is quite detailed.. plenty of pics. Certainly looks different compared to the X6 that I saw in a well lit BMW dealer showroom. I have owned a light color car for more than a decade now and think of trying a darker color like BSM/CBM or RBM (Ruby Black Metallic), but am concerned about the maintenance. Hows it with your BSM, do you have to clean/wash often?

Anything black whether CBM or BSM you are going to have to wash often if you want it clean. I did mine about once a week. It helps that BSM and CBM have a significant amount of metallic flake in them vs. black for example. I always found silver or a charcoal gray (glacier or space gray) easiest to maintain. My opinion.

BSM is much easier to maintain than AW or JB. Be far easiest color I've owned, frankly.

If you get a non metallic paint you will have a very hard time. Swirls show up so easily. Isn't matte paint easiest to take care of?

Definitely not, matte would be the hardest to look after. Not for paint swirls but keeping it matte means gentle hand washing. If not looked after correctly it will lose it's matte finish.

Little fluff piece in The Star recently.

Garage List
If you want matte paint, instead get a matte wrap. Super easy to clean.
