2014 X5 XDrive35i Fully Loaded, should I?

Replacing my ML350 soon and just saw this beauty and wants to pull the trigger. This will be my first BMW and wants to find out if the first year production issues are common? anything I should watch out for?

2014 BMW X5 xDrive35i with XLine Trim (Is this different than M)
Driver Assist Plus
Bang and Olufsen
Premium Package
Lighting Package
Dynamic Damper (Is this like Airmatic in MB)
Active Steering (is this good?)
Luxury Seating
HUD
4Zone.

Sounds like it's got everything I want... coming from a fully loaded ML, I think this will be a great match.

Anything else I should look out for?

2014 is typically plagued with issues, some are good though.. maybe this one will be okay.
2014 is slightly slower than 2015 and up if that matters to you.
This X5 is nicely loaded but it needs a Dynamic Handling Package to be fully loaded.
Xline trim is not the same as M. Msport line is the sportier trim of the three different trims. Xline trim is more geared to look like an off-road vehicle... Luxury line is self explanatory. I would highly recommend you to research and read this thread http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=846222 to get familiarize with the X5 and not prematurely jump on the first loaded X5 you come across or you may suffer from buyers remorse.

I'm going from a 2014 to a 2017. Did they improve engine performance since 2014? That's a nice perk I guess.

There was a technical update for the 8-speed automatic transmission for better efficiency and faster acceleration and as of October 2014 production, there was an engine displacement change on the N55 engine that increases displacement from 2979 cubic centimeters to 3001 cubic centimeters. These were hardware changes and no it can't be coded in case someone asks lol

The Result is

The slight change was in the gearing of the transmission in 2015. An engine change(N55 to B58) is coming soon for the xDrive35i.
