Thank you... I have just updated it.

Anyway, I don't know why I have the impression that the HK in my M4 was louder than the HK in the X6. Is it just my impression?

No. I have an m4 and an x6. The x6 radio is louder. I assume the x6 has a bigger amp since the car is larger.

OP,

Excellent color combo. I am glad you enjoy your X6. Truth be told, I put 2600miles on my X6 since early Nov and about 150 miles on my M3 during the same time.

If you feel the need to get a little more power, I suggest Dinan to keep warranty in place. I went with Dinantronic With added power, I always want to drive my X6 everywhere with 2 kids.

X6 is perfect combo for M3/M4.

In regard to sound system, I feel that X6 is louder since insulator is better. Then again, I rare listen to music in M3.

I really enjoy this car for now... I am back in the States and on Saturday I have to go to put clear bra on the hood, front bumper, headlights, mirrors, front fenders and also on the boards of the car since it does not have any running boards I will just put one piece on the driver and also one on the passenger's side. Also, I will put ceramic tint on it, since the loaners that I had did not have any tint and it was awful compared to my M4 that had the ceramic tint, plus the fact that now I have a black interior, no more light interior color for me.

Anyway, I have a question : since the dealer gave me the floor mats as part of the deal, I also want to get a trunk mat but I don't know what to get. Should I get the BMW OEM one or should I choose a WeatherTech? I would really appreciate your feedback because I have itches in my palm to order something.

Thanks.

What are you impressions after letting go of the M car? Suspension, handling, and acceleration on the X6 since you have the Adaptive M suspension option.

Now it depends on what you want from the car... you know you can't actually compare those cars, the M4 with an X6 35i... I wanted to go higher in class, I was tired of all of the sound and stiffness of the suspension so this is why I have moved from the M4.

Suspension : I was almost every time driving the M4 with the suspension in comfort mode, unfortunately I can't set it up like I was able to do it in the M4 so I always drive the X6 also in comfort mode (dealer said that in comfort mode way of driving also the suspension will be in comfort mode) except for some cases when I push it. The X6 feels just like a boat that I am going to lose control of, that I have never felt with the M4. Anyway, this is exactly what I wanted, a big boat that won't kill my back anymore on bad roads.

Handling : I was always keeping my steering setting in sports mode and I liked the feeling of it a lot, the X6 does not give that handling feeling like the M4 did.

Acceleration : Can't compare the two again, the M4 had huge reserves of power, every time the car would have pushed you like crazy, but the X6 is not bad at all, it has a decent acceleration judging by its size and weight.

Disclaimer : By no means I can compare the two cars, for the moment the X6 will better serve my needs, I will go back to the M division in 2-3 years maximum and probably I will get an M6 GC or an X6 M if I will still like the X6 so much.

I was asked to give a feedback but I am saying that you just can't compare apples with carrots.

I took three quick photos earlier of the car, when I will have a little time I will take some nicer photos after I will also wash it with all of the goodies that I have from the other car. Yesterday I also got the registration sticker for my ex license plates to put them on this car.

I have managed to clear bra the front of the car (front bumper, front fenders, headlights, full hood, fog projectors and also two pieces on the side boards since I don't have an aluminum running board) and also to tint the windows with Ceramic tint.

Unfortunately I did not have time for a real manual hand wash of the car to put some nicer photos of the car. I don't regret a second the decision of trading in the M4 for this car. Now I have to start coding the car, like for example the auto high beam and some other stuff.

It is time to move on, I have other priorities right now in life so I have put my car on Swapalease. I will come back to BMW but right now the car is not driven anymore due to the fact that I have the rental car from my company. I have it since December last year and I have barely drove it, the car has 2,155 miles right now. Where can I also post it here on the forum?

The car can be found below.

I have placed my order last Friday (12th) and it is scheduled for production on week 49.

I have loaded it a little, I am just in doubt about the engine, if I should get the V8 instead of the in line 6 one. Also, I was in doubt about the M Adaptive suspension, I added it up yesterday thinking that it should be softer in Comfort mode compared to the Standard suspension that comes with the M package.

Do you have any thoughts about my configuration, what is worth getting and what it's not? I can still change the order, until it enters in status 150, right now it's still in 112.

X6 xDrive35i

Space Gray Metallic
Black Dakota Leather
Brushed Aluminum Trim
Cold Weather Package
Driver Assistance Package
Driver Assistance Plus
Lighting Package
Luxury Seating Package
M Sport Package
•Adaptive M Suspension + rear axle air suspension
•20" M Light alloy Double Spoke wheels style 469M-with performance run-flat tires
Premium Package
Soft-close automatic doors
Harman Kardon surround sound system
I suggest getting the Coral Red Interior with Multicontour seats!!
That's what I have and they're worth every penny!

The Space Gray on Red color combo looks beautiful as well!

Otherwise it's a great combo, waiting to see the pics

Changed my mind, I am keeping the car so I have deactivated the swapalease add that I had for the car.

Question: what material is that on the interior door panels and also on the dashboard and glove box if you don't have the leather dashboard option? I want to know which products should I use (for what materials) when I clean my interior.
