The Elusive X5M xDrive35i (Satire)

So, before anyone posts , /post in its entirety!

So, earlier I was out and about, waiting in a lengthy line of cars for the light to turn green. There were some vehicles attempting to exit McDonalds and the traffic sucks in this area, so the folks ahead of me were letting a few out as time and traffic permitted. By the time I idled up to that location, low and behold I spotted a fellow X5 driver, so as the code goes, one X5 (or BMW owner) should show more kindness to another X5 (or BMW owner).

The next bit took me by surprise (hence the lack of pics).

I left the obligatory gap between me and the vehicle ahead to signal the X5 driver that I would let them in. As the shiny black F15 pulled across traffic and my bow (no affiliation with the USN) I scoped the model which is located on the lower door panel as a xDrive35i. Cool, I've seen this exact vehicle before in one of the local grocery store parking lots. Then, as the vehicle cleared my bow and continued its intended path time froze.

What did I see on the rear hatch lid, just right of the X5 emblem???

A ///M emblem!!!

In my best Steve Irwin voice I said "CRICKEY!!!"

I've never seen the mythical X5M xDrive35i in the wild, but there it was in all its splendor!!! Since I didn't have a co-pilot for this mission, I couldn't safely obtain a pic to prove my sighting. I've seen this vehicle before and we frequent some of the same spots. I'll see it again, and I will be prepared!!! I will bring to this forum photographic evidence of the existence of a xDrive35i X5M (at least one that dwells in my area as I have read of the existence of several more like this one!!!)

Stay tuned...

Why would an X5 ///M driver bother adding xDrive35i badges? I don't get it!

Lordy... here we go again.
Did said driver at least wave/acknowledge your random act of kindness?

I can beat that....

I saw the only X3 ///M ever produced. I was driving solo, merging onto the highway so I couldn't get pics either.

We are all extremely lucky!

I too recently seen a rare ///M unicorn. The one and only, MX1 or X1M.

To be honest I don't recall, and giving them the benefit of the doubt, they were paying attention to oncoming traffic plus the second lane that opens up just to the right of mine. I'm still on the hunt because I want that photographic evidence!

Obviously he/she is trying to lure the unsuspecting...and then when they leave the other car in the dust, only then do they know it was an "M" car.

I feel so sorry for all those "others" that thought they almost beat an "M"

I could have guessed the outcome when you wrote "mcdonald's"...
