MPE Question

Does the MPE have a valve that opens and close like the stock exhaust? When I first start the car up the exhaust sounds pretty good and then it gets quieter. Is that normal? I wish it sounded like that all the time.

There are no valves.

Loud at start up Then mellows out after 30 seconds. I believe it's your engine and not your exhaust that quiets down

A few of us also wish it was as loud as start up all the time

I figured it was the drop in revs after start up. So I gave it some gas up to 2100 Rpms and it is still not as loud.

Do you have mppk with your car? MPE and MPPK should change a lot.

If you still feel quite, do muffler delete.

Should be much more louder.

I took off muffler to see what it was like.

It's significantly louder. It drones and probably unbearable for daily use.

I didn't really get to test at length, but my butt dyno says no. I've been on so many forums and everyone talks about backpressure and torque loss.....I don't know what to believe.

Only way to really test is back to back dyno or airflow testing....

I'd say go for it, if you're interested. Significant Power loss shouldn't be a concern

Quite ture. If you love that loud sound , who cares that little torque.
