Adaptive M Suspension?

Have been pricing out a new X5. We found one at a dealer with exterior color want "Mineral White Metallic" and the interior color we want of "Amaro Brown Extended Merino Leather". It also has most of the options we want including the M sport package, except for ceramic controls, comfort rear seats, and the Adaptive M suspension + rear axle air suspension.

The only option that I am having trouble doing without in this available build is the Adaptive M Suspension. Question is for all you forum goers is, how much of a difference does the Adaptive M Suspension make and how much will i miss it?

Everyone who has it will tell you you can't live without it. Everyone without it will tell you your X5 will be great without it.

And almost all of them only half-understand how it works and what it can/can't do.

Why not just place an order for exactly what you want? It only takes a couple weeks to get your vehicle.

I did not get m-sport, but I regret not getting the dynamic handling package.

I like the M-sport package, but feel it is more exterior aesthetics on the F015 (I would not go without it on my F010). I also prefer the 2LS wheels not available with ZMP.

Of the options excluded in available build, I would miss the comfort seats the most.

I'm starting to agree with you here about placing an order.

I know it would be a haul for you coming from Oregon, but if you place an order, consider doing the Performance Center Delivery. We've done two and while the exercises were the same, the experience is completely different in the M4 and X5. Not better, just different.

It is also a blast doing the road trip across America. We've taken different routes home for both trips and had a blast. Might give you an opportunity to do things you would never do.

We kind of lucked out on the X5 as the track had patches of snow and ice when we picked it up. Being from Colorado, snow and ice are no strangers, but we definitely pushed the X5 harder on the track than we likely ever will on the road. Cool experience.
